Is this category really necessary? --Tothebarricades.tk 20:31, 21 Apr 2005 (UTC)

well, what about these lot. Gaetano Bresci Erich Muhsam Guiseppe Pinelli Laureano Cerrada Santos Franco Serrantini

all murdered, if you draw a distinction between murder and official execution. Possibly useful because 'dead anarchists' would be a very long list...

I don't know, it just seems silly to have two categories with only a slight semantic difference. Like, where do we put people killed by the State through extralegal means, like Carlo Giuliani? Is that simply "murder" or "execution" by the State? Does "execution" imply a trial, though? Hm. I am of the opinion that execution is just more callous and inhuman form of murder, but I realize that's just an opinion... --Tothebarricades 10:26, August 3, 2005 (UTC)
Why not just combine them and call it "Martyred anarchists?"Dumpster 13:47, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Are murdered anarchists somehow a distinct kind of anarchists? Otherwise, this just seems like a meaningless intersection category, which in the spirit of WP:OC is quite unnecessary. -- Visviva 06:33, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
