Copyright Violation?[edit]

I was of the understanding that info on the NASA site was free to be copied, so had copied the data over. I was in the process of adding to it when I found this copyright violation notice... I only posted the info about 5 minutes earlier. Quick movers!

  • I was on RC patrol. Let's see, did you find this on NASA? Because I did a google search and found it on www.astronautix.com, certainly a private website. Maybe they copied it from NASA though; provide the link and I'll revert it. Thanks. --Dmcdevit 04:48, 24 Apr 2005 (UTC)

George Dyson[edit]

We have a George Dyson in wikipedia, is it the same ? Hektor (talk) 11:41, 12 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

according to this article: http://www.pe.com/localnews/banning/stories/PE_News_Local_D_eastronaut16.30fb691.html he's a "a Navy pilot deployed on the aircraft carrier USS George Washington". So, no, it's not the same! --201.34.229.23 (talk) 14:25, 15 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Videocall with baseball player[edit]

I've not been able to find a reliable source for this yet, but apparently Brad Lidge (closer for the Philadelphia Phillies) had a live video chat with Dyson (currently on the ISS) today (source). Will keep looking for an WP:RS. -- Scjessey (talk) 20:04, 8 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

How does one address her?[edit]

In the article, she is alternatingly referred to as 'Dyson', 'Caldwell' and 'Caldwell Dyson'... --Ohconfucius ¡digame! 14:20, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

According to the NASA bio, she is correctly referred to as 'Caldwell Dyson'. -- Scjessey (talk) 14:35, 9 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! This is a note to let the editors of this article know that File:Tracy Caldwell Dyson in Cupola ISS.jpg will be appearing as picture of the day on August 14, 2012. You can view and edit the POTD blurb at Template:POTD/2012-08-14. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page so Wikipedia doesn't look bad. :) Thanks! howcheng {chat} 20:31, 13 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Removing the sentence about religion[edit]

Do we need to include that Caldwell Dyson believes in God? The source given just references her using the term God to describe people being put on Earth, and another source here just has her mention her faith. As there are no further citations about her religious background, it seems like an insignificant detail in her personal life section. Balon Greyjoy (talk) 10:57, 1 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
