"Did you know..." feature[edit]

I just wanted to mention, that on January 7, 2005, this article was featured in the Did you know section of the Main Page (see archive)

Did you know... ...that with his roles in Malcolm in the Middle and Unhappily Ever After, Justin Berfield is the youngest person to appear in over 100 episodes of two different television shows?

Place of birth[edit]

Can someone get a city/town for the place of birth? IMDB list it as what I put it as here, Los Angeles County, California (this could be just what it is, since the L.A. metro are have many unincorporated areas --my home is on one)... a few sites have "Pamaram City, California" and that is not a valid city name (every site that has a city, has that name.. they all copied each other). The closest city to that would be Panorama City, California, but I need verification of some sort. If it really is an unincorporated area, can someone find the nearest city or town, so it could at least be used and "near" in front of it. I cant believe I found out what High School he went to (Agoura High School, Agoura Hills, California), but can not find the city he was born in? Personally, Los Angeles County is not good, since it a very large area, with hundreds of cities in it. --AlexTheMartian 22:11, Jan 7, 2005 (UTC)

Keep the LGBT Tags[edit]

It's known that Just Berfeild has been in a relationship with his business partner Jason Felts. Although I'm not sure if they're still together, the fact they ever were makes Berfeild LGBT. Even if he's had a girlfriend, he could be bi, but isn't straight. Mrmoustache14 (talk) 05:29, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed the tags since currently their presence is a severe WP:BLP violation. "It is known that" is not a valid argument for placing such tags - you must first add solid WP:V sources to the article identifying him as gay. Nsk92 (talk) 11:11, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I have added a thread regarding this issue at Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons/Noticeboard#Justin Berfield. Nsk92 (talk) 11:25, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Saying that it's "known" that someone is gay or bi is not good enough. Until Berfield himself openly states that he is gay or bi via one of his sites or via a reliable source, adding this is nothing more than a rumor. Is he? Maybe. Who knows? Until Berfield himself says something official, anything otherwise is just speculation- speculation that not only violates our BLP policy but can also land Wikipedia in some serious legal hot water as this could be considered libel. History is full of people who took various people to courts for alleging that they were gay (and sometimes the people genuinely were gay). These cases don't usually end with any payoff for anyone, but stuff like this is still somewhat common. It cannot be added until Berfield backs it up and it has to come from Berfield's mouth, otherwise it's still just hearsay because while there are a lot of cases where people said that so-and-so was gay and they were very closeted, there are also a lot of cases where the person in question wasn't gay and it was all just rumor. (from BLP/N) Use of categorizations about sexuality etc. requires self-identification as a rule. Cheers. Collect (talk) 15:04, 29 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

religion[edit]

Why is someone's religion referred to when they are not Christian and especially when they are Jewish? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:540:C001:7708:513E:CAF5:135A:3C4D (talk) 02:10, 26 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
