Hashar's cat[edit]

Vanity article about User:Hashar's cat. Delete. --Slowking Man 08:32, Nov 15, 2004 (UTC)

  • Keep, transwiki to meta. — Kate Turner | Talk 08:33, 2004 Nov 15 (UTC)
  • I threw my vote to the cat... and it ate it... and therefore Delete. No offense to the well thought out author of the article but really it's too personal and I think and you know that it is a joke. [[User:Squash|Squash (Talk)]] 08:40, Nov 15, 2004 (UTC)
  • Miaow. There are infinity non-pedigree pet cats. We can't commemmorate every one. Delete. Anthony Appleyard 09:09, 15 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Mrs. Slocomb says: No pussies on Wikipedia. (delete) Wyllium 09:39, 2004 Nov 15 (UTC)
  • Delete. Oh look, it's a stub! We can help Wikipedia by expanding it! Good gracious, how would we do that? :-) And of course pussies in general are fine on Wikipedia (ooh la la), but individuals need a good reason for inclusion. I mean, the damn thing doesn't even have a name. JRM 10:57, 2004 Nov 15 (UTC)
  • Who's a snoogum woogums? Who's a fwuffy wuffy kitty? Who's a deleted article? Hashar should take a picture of his cat and put it on his user page. All the coolest people do that. Geogre 17:19, 15 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • You think User:Hashar could get this up to featured quality? I'd like to read such an article. Oh well, delete. Everyking 19:00, 15 Nov 2004 (UTC)
    • Unfortunatly I am not very good at english, but I am working on enhancing it. Hashar 00:20, 16 Nov 2004 (UTC)
      • Might I encourage you not to? I'd hate to see you waste valuable time. -R. fiend 07:16, 16 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete, but move to BJAODN. I like this article, but it's not notable, so it should get the axe. --Idont Havaname 00:27, 16 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • I think Hashar just got tired of the hypothetical "What if someone writes an article about their cat?" arguement. -- Cyrius| 03:35, 16 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  • I've added a bit more information, but i will not vote until the author provides some extra info. Some of the things that would help bring the article up to featured article status are:
    • The cats name
    • A photo of the cat
    • Some statistics
    • Some other info to distinguish it from other cats.

Even then it should probably be on your user page. Wifki 07:24, 16 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete. Emjoyable but I'm sure it is just a joke. Jeff Knaggs 08:10, 16 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete it. [[User:Radman1|RaD Man (talk)]] 22:15, 16 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • I have taken the liberty of moving this to a subpage of Hashar. --Improv 05:19, 17 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete unless verifiable. anthony 警告 21:29, 17 Nov 2004 (UTC)
    • Anthony, this is an article about some guy's cat. I would hope that, if it were not now in the User namespace, you would not be trying to keep it, regardless of how truthful it is. --Improv 21:58, 17 Nov 2004 (UTC)
      • If the cat is notable enough to make a verifiable article about it, then we should certainly keep it, regardless of the fact that it's "some guy's cat". There are very few cats that meet this standard, but for those that do, we should have articles about them. anthony 警告 01:28, 18 Nov 2004 (UTC)
        • The only notable cat of recent times is Socks, the Clinton White House cat, who allegedly pooped on several important pieces of legislation. GeorgeStepanek 20:54, 20 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • This VfD is now moot as the article has been moved/redirected. GRider 22:49, 17 Nov 2004 (UTC)
    • The redirect should still be deleted. anthony 警告 01:28, 18 Nov 2004 (UTC)
