Well, that sorta depends on how firmly you believe in a given religion/mythology. Besides, I believe the category of "Fictional Demons" is meant specifically for demons included in works such as comic books and roleplaying games, rather than ones seen in various Abrahamic religious legends/myths/teachings, or in other non-Monotheistic religions. Haha, the fist thing I thought when I read the title of this page was: "Huh" and then I just had to see if I were the first to report this in the talk page. If you abandon reality to believe in mythology then yes you may have the delusion that demons are real. Calling some demons fictional and others not because some are part of religion and others are not is silly. There is just as much evidence for the existence of both. Both are equally fictional. It is my understanding that "fictional" when used in wikipedia categorization implies characters that have a specific known source (i.e. literature, television, film) and that are known works of fiction. The demons not listed as fictional are demons who come from folklore and mythology (hence, they have no definite author) and were all, at one point, actually believed to exist. In other words, people at one point believed Satan was a real entity (some people still do), but no one ever believed Etrigan from DC comics existed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.99.138.230 (talk) 04:27, 5 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
