Great, thanks. I saw your work on that. - Taxman 02:30, Apr 25, 2005 (UTC)

dual licenses[edit]

I think you're exactly right. I have changed Image:Drosophila egg.png to reflect this. Feel free to make the same change to any other dual-licensed images you find. – Quadell (talk) (sleuth) July 1, 2005 14:18 (UTC)

Pupa[edit]

Thank you for informing me of a special template for calling for support.

I hope it is clear (but fear it is not) that I was just suggesting the idea that such a template ({{Science:Needs Help}}) could be used to try to attract attention to weak science articles. --Memenen 2 July 2005 21:44 (UTC)

resting potential[edit]

Read your message and like the changes you made to depol and hyperpol. Note however that the membrane potential article is currently undergoing a major rewrite (guess who?) where resting potential is given a more thourough treatment. So a new article on resting potential may not be necessary.

I think it is wise to have individual articles for many topics rather than try to pile everything into a few articles. Usually this means that specific details get multiple treatments on several pages, but that is okay. See if you live with the Resting potential article I just posted. - Memenen 7 July 2005 16:52 (UTC)
Hey, thanks for the synapse and the "blueness". I was just kidding about the synapse - I appreciate it Synaptidude 9 July 2005 06:27 (UTC)
I'm glad you were not offended by the "award". Please try to find a more elegant synapse for your page. The one in the synapse article shows the "holy" dendrite of the dramatically exocytotic Papal Neuron. --Memenen 9 July 2005 13:13 (UTC)

What is life?[edit]

I expanded What is Life? (Schrödinger). I'd appreciate any comments. Markus Schmaus 13:29, 14 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Lyricus Teaching Order[edit]

I have nominated Lyricus Teaching Order, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lyricus Teaching Order. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice?  – iridescent 15:28, 2 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Notice

The file File:Risingaction.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 18 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
