What is the saftey record of this aircraft?

Off-hand, I know only of two incidents--both due to pilot error. One accident was due to excessive descent rates by a Rio-Sul pilot in southern Brazil. He hit the ground four times faster than was certified speed. Here's the Press Release. The other was a Continental Express flight which overran the runway on a snowy day. Neither was due to any type of failure on the aircraft's part. --Dali-Llama 03:52, 22 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

ERJ 170[edit]

Needs an update to add the ERJ170 (E70). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.195.224.102 (talk) 16:35, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nope. The E-170 (ERJ-170) is a wholly different aircraft, and is already covered at Embraer E-Jet family. - BilCat (talk) 18:26, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Article name[edit]

Why isn't this article named the Embraer Regional Jet or something similar? Just curious. --Degen Earthfast (talk) 17:47, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Numbers built[edit]

- Number built: 890 as of January 2012 - In May 2011 a total of 990 ERJ 135/140/145 remain in service, with 5 further firm orders.

There's something strange going on here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.222.122.112 (talk) 10:32, 7 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page[edit]

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request its removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:

main pic[edit]

The current main pic shows it from the side over a busy vegetation background. I propose another pics, more from front and over a sky background : --Marc Lacoste (talk) 07:49, 12 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Agree it needs to change, any of the left facing approach shots would do but AN0969536 is a nice clear shot. MilborneOne (talk) 18:37, 12 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Embraer ERJ 145 familyEmbraer ERJ family – This family of aircraft comprises three different models and the page name should reflect that. The new name will also match the names of Embraer's other aircraft, the Embraer E-Jet family and the Embraer E-Jet E2 family. RickyCourtney (talk) 22:08, 11 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
