Clarification[edit]

Hi ladies and gentlemen, I was wondering whether the proposed prohibition of removing the clitoris image applies to linking that image via the {{linkimage}} template as well? TIMBO (T A L K) 17:47, 19 Mar 2005 (UTC)

  • Dr Zen is prohibited from reverting Clitoris to remove the photograph -- replacing a photo with a template constitutes removing the photograph, in my book. →Raul654 03:14, Mar 21, 2005 (UTC)
I changed the wording to be more explicit on this issue. Nohat 07:13, 21 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Looks good. This is not binding on other editors, correct? Presummably this just forces Zen to use the talk page if he wants to participate at clitoris. Cool Hand Luke 21:24, 21 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Correct. All other editors are permitted to make whatever changes to the clitoris article that they deem appropriate. Of course, if an editor violates Wikipedia policy and obstinately refuses to correct their behavior, then they may be subject to similar restrictions if their case is brought before the Arbitration Committee. We don't rule on content disputes: we are only finding that the current consensus is to keep the picture, and Dr Zen is acting against that consensus. As I said in my vote on the prohibition, if consensus comes to favor removing the picture, then anyone will be able to do so, except Dr Zen, who will be bound by this decision.
