YouTube links[edit]

This article is one of thousands on Wikipedia that have a link to YouTube in it. Based on the External links policy, most of these should probably be removed. I'm putting this message here, on this talk page, to request the regular editors take a look at the link and make sure it doesn't violate policy. Sources[edit]

This article lacks sources. Regarding Roger playing bass guitar on "What God Wants (part I)", I seem to remember him stating in an interview about the video for the song, that he did in fact not play bass on the album track. The personnel section seems to be sourced from the album liner notes, as they match. The liner notes indicate that Rogers only played bass on the intro to "What God Wants (part I)"; Randy Jackson played bass on the rest of the song. Strobilus (talk) 23:44, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

First line[edit]

The first line and I quote:

Amused to Death is a concept album by former Pink Floyd bassist Roger Waters, released in 1992.

Seems to have a point of view. Shouldn't Waters be called a composer? His main page does not mention his being a bassist till the 2nd line:

George Roger Waters (born 6 September 1943 in Great Bookham, Surrey) is an English rock musician, singer-songwriter and composer. He is best known as the bass player, co-lead vocalist, lyricist, primary songwriter, and one of the founding members of the rock band Pink Floyd.

I think the first line should be

Amused to Death is a concept album by composer Roger Waters, released in 1992.

Overquoting[edit]

A quotation section in an article is a bad sign. It's better to integrate the material into the article, as it's too much quotation for fair use. See the essay WP:OVERQUOTE for an idea of what I mean. The lyrics in the overview section should also be looked into. Opencooper (talk) 20:22, 18 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

2001 HAL samples[edit]
