Welcome![edit]

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions; I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Though we all make goofy mistakes, here is what Wikipedia is not.

By the way, you can sign your name on Talk pages and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the time stamp. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to see the help pages, add a question to the village pump, or ask me on my Talk page. The Community Portal can also be very useful.

Happy Wiki-ing!

This is my talk page, above is my original welcome here. Feel free to add any comments below.

My user page[edit]

Thanks for fixing the spelling error on my userpage! You (Talk) July 8, 2005 16:29 (UTC)

No problemo. Elitejeff123 8 July 2005 17:02 (UTC)

Oh, yeah, and I'm going to speedy delete that page. When I changed all the links in the Compleat History Of The World, I missed that one. Also, I moved your content to my userspace. Sorry. You (Talk) July 8, 2005 16:44 (UTC)

It's ok, it was my fault really. Thanks for the help. Elitejeff123 8 July 2005 16:55 (UTC)

Actually, on second thought, I won't speedy delete that page since I feel like it would be a conflict of interests for me, but I'm sure somebody else will soon. You (Talk) July 8, 2005 17:01 (UTC)

Replying to talk page messages[edit]

Hello, just thought I'd mention that most users prefer that when you reply to a message they leave on your talk page, you reply on their talk page. Personally, I don't care (although it will certainly take me longer to see your replies that way,) although many users do. You (Talk) July 8, 2005 20:56 (UTC)

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Little Savages, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
