Why delete? What's wrong with my page?

I see the article too biased toward a fans view, please make it leaned toward to a neutral POV.
There aren't even any opinions on the page. It is a list of statistics and a small amount of information regarding her CD's. Just because it doesn't say anything about the downsides of her career, it doesn't mean it is biased.

Interview on Wikinews[edit]

Hi all!

Katelyn Tarver's publicity people have been cool enough to let me have an email-based interview with her, to be published on this site, called Wikinews. My challenge to you: what questions would you like me to ask her? Either post them to Wikinews (just click "edit this page" when you get there, and type), or email them to me at nicholasmoreau@gmail.com. I'll choose the best questions, and ask them to Katelyn.

Thx all! Nick M. (aka Zanimum)

imdb[edit]

I think imdb is an adequate source for things like when somebody is born (at least for the year, if not the day). But if we use it we should cite it. If we don't use it, we can't keep facts reliant on only it. --Rob 19:50, 8 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Does the official site in any way mention her birth date? Mad Jack 20:55, 8 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WP:EL overkill[edit]

I put back the MySpace link. This is an official site. The vast bulk of MySpace links don't belong, because generally they're just anonymous fans making a page for their idol, have nothing special to offer, and have no official status. But a small but growing minority of MySpace are like Avril Lavigne and Tarver, and others *signed* artists, in that they're used by the artist and their label as an ongoing official verhicle for the performer (e.g. not just a leftover from the "up and coming days"). Another major problem with most MySpace pages, is claims of official status can't be verified (e.g. somebody pretends to be who they are not), but Tarver's MySpace can easily be verified to be official.[1] I would make a strong request that people not robotically remove non-spam links, but instead look into each case. And of course, if all somebody has is a MySpace page, they're probably not notable, but again, that's not the case with Tarver. --Rob 00:04, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
