I don't think this is a suburb in itself, rather just a location within a suburb: which one I don't know though. 'Simpson Barracks' does not show up as a suburb on the online Melway. Hypernovean 10:13, 23 Apr 2004 (UTC)

According to an article on Google (first ten searches) Watsonia is the home of the Simpson Barracks.

So should someone delete the page, and then I can put Simpson Barracks onto Watsonia?

As an addition, two more site say that Simpson Barracks is in McLeod:

(or maybe just the Army School of Signals?).

If there is sufficient information to merit an article on the Barracks alone, it should stay. Hypernovean 12:41, 23 Apr 2004 (UTC)
Actually, according to the Melway, the barracks appears to be in Yallambie? I'm going to assume the map is correct, as the suburb boundaries may have shifted since those websites listed MacLeod/Watsonia. Hypernovean 12:48, 23 Apr 2004 (UTC)

I've never heard of Simpson Barracks being in Yallambie. I was there last night and large lettering at the entrance reads "Simpson Barracks" with "Watsonia" beneath. I think that settles the debate.Jwwil 08:01, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Definitely not Yallambie and never heard as a suburb in a suburb. I spent most of my army career there, 1977-1986, then it was Watsonia Barracks, Macleod, Yallambie was East of the Barracks. There was a horse paddock was possibly in Yallambie, it was just east of the Satellite terminal, now museum, in Molloy Rd. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Stephen.J.Arnold (talkcontribs) 02:02, 26 October 2015‎
