While the difference between this and the G clef is one that must be made clear, I'm seeing a lot of dulication between the two pages. I'm opening the pondering of a merge ... -- Tarquin 20:42 Sep 18, 2002 (UTC)

Seems reasonable, as the G clef has very rarely been used as anything other than a treble clef. The only problem is that the merged article would have to live under the less common name of G clef because while all treble clefs are G clefs, not all G clefs are treble clefs. If you're going to do this, you might think about doing the same with bass clef and F clef - the F clef moves about a bit more than the G clef, but the two are still virtually synonymous these days. --Camembert

After a bit of mulling, I tried integrating all the clef articles into the single clef page. What do you think? -- Merphant
