I'm a native of Oakland, California, and currently a student in linguistics at the University of Chicago. Wikipedia has been one of my favorite forms of research for years, primarily for educating myself about philosophy and the people in that field.

One of my hobbies, in addition to cooking, traveling, and drinking beer, is copy editing, which is probably what I'll expend most of my efforts on here.
