Are there really people who are truly interested in all of this?? I could never imagine an encyclopedia with a TV guide. I mean, do people really care whether M*A*S*H was on the air at 7:30PM or 8:00PM in 1974?? I guess, my understanding of what an encyclopedia should represent is too conservative. Maybe it would help if you look at it as a reference attachment, much like in a paper encyclopedia. After all, these schedules might be useful for whoever wants to write a book (or make a movie) on 1970s, and needs details to make the plot more real. This information is not readily available elsewhere, and it definitely falls under the definition of the "sum of all human knowledge". It is of somewhat derivative nature, but nevertheless interesting in itself.
I don't know though if the creator had any other ideas in mind, though, it's just how I personally look at this.—Ëzhiki (erinaceus europeaus) 16:13, Mar 4, 2005 (UTC)
