Looks like there's more than one movie called "Scared Stiff". Kappa

How could Walter De Leon have been one of the screenwriters of this 1953 film when he died in 1947? Doesn't make sense. (talk) 00:36, 15 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Just because the film was made after he died doesn't mean he didn't write it. His name is listed second in the on screen title of screenwriters for the film. Donaldd23 (talk) 11:27, 15 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

okay so that means the Martin/Lewis film was a script sitting at Paramount for years before it was made. Or possibly the old 1940 Bob Hope version script re-used with some updating. Okay I'll go with that. I looked to see if De Leon was a creator of the play which would give him automatic/perpetual credit for his creation but his involvement with this play goes back to the Wallace Reid 1922 version The Ghost Breaker. But thanks Donald, I thought I would just ask to see if anybody knew about the writing credits.Koplimek (talk) 16:43, 16 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
