A tag has been placed on G. Bakthavathsalam, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. –Roscelese (talkcontribs) 02:43, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've restored the pre-spam version, but this one still needs a lot of cleanup. There are awards listed which have no articles about them, in some cases from organizations which have no articles about them; the text is in list form rather than prose; etc. Most of the article is not sourced to reliable sources; and a lot of it is fluff and trivia.

Will power paradox[edit]

I think that maybe this addition to List of paradoxes might be notable, but really that list should point to articles or sections of articles and that way the notability is established. SO I'll leave it for a week or so but I think you need to try setting up at least a stub article on it with the link and see if it remains otherwise the entry in the list should go should go. Dmcq (talk) 21:07, 23 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have created a stub at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Willpower_paradox, hopefully it will get accepted.

Disambiguation link notification for April 27[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Willpower as a paradox, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Counselor (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

List of paradoxes[edit]

Per my edit summary, you'll need to find and supply a reliable source. Someone tried to add that before, and couldn't find any sources other than the author himself. It's not up to me to go find sources to verify content you want to add, especially when I'm not convinced that the paradox is actually notable. Of course, if you found such sources, then it could be added. Qwyrxian (talk) 13:48, 23 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Blub paradox[edit]

Hello. You undid my revision, supposing it erroneous. Are you not confusing paradox with the allegation of a paradoxical behaviour in some. Even sticking to the dictionaries' simplist and classical "tenet contrary to received opinion", there remains to show where is that breach with received opinion. "Superior power of other languages" is not in itself bare a logical statement or proposition. --Askedonty (talk) 09:06, 26 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on KGiSL Institute of Information Management requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Speedy deletion nomination of Willpower paradox[edit]

Hello Kgashok,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Willpower paradox for deletion, because it's too short to identify the subject of the article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Mangesh Khairnar (talk) 12:36, 4 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article Willpower paradox has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article was declined at AfC (see Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Willpower as a paradox), but the creator added it to mainspace anyway. Looking at the information and sources, it appears that only 1 source actually talks about a "willpower paradox". While the other sources are about "willpower", it's WP:OR to connect them to this idea of a paradox. As such, with only 1 source, this subject does not meet WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
