The "Space Pope" was mentioned in Futurama as a pseudo-futuristic parody on the phrase "Is the Pope Catholic?" He also appeared for two seconds at the end of an educational film parody. And that's it. Delete. Ian Pugh 17:58, 8 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  • While it seems that minor character pages or merge/redirect mentions work in some circumstances, I must point out that the Space Pope is not even a character; he is a single joke from the series without any context outside of being a silly joke, with five seconds total to his name out of four years and seventy-two episodes.   6. Delete: Don't know why it's a poll, but the character lists are the character lists and are full by themselves. No need to put this into the merge queue, where it will sit for weeks, when we're talking about virtually no information on a joke. Redirects are cheap, but merges aren't.
