Many people are still seem to be confused (as I was until the mistake was pointed out to me by the user pamri) about the identity of Madhvacharya and Madhavacharya, using their names interchangebly. This is not correct. They belonged to different systems of philosophy and belong to different period. For clarity I give the major differences between these men. At present I do not have much information on these philosophers.

merge notice[edit]

I'd wait for another week before comments and then do the merging with Madhava Acharya retained as a re-direct page. --Gurubrahma 09:29, 8 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Telugu script?[edit]

In the early 14th century, Vijaya lipi, a version of Old Kannada was in vogue to write both Kannada and Telugu. This lasted through out the time of the empire. A slow change appeared thereafter and culminatde in the modern telugu and Kannada scripts only by 18th century.
