Bridges[edit]

I'm puzzled how the railway station mentions bridges over the A21 which is several miles away. The only bridge by the station is over the A232, and very ugly!

Station extension[edit]

I have used this station a fair amount for over 20 years, If I remember right the station was expanded I think from 5 platforms to 8 at a point in the mid 1990s maybe 1994. Platforms 6, 7 & 8 the dead end platforms are the new platforms I think. The bus station is also a fairly recent addition added at the same time or after, before this there were 3 small stops on the road for the different buses they had no shelters or seats. Does anyone have a better memory than me or can find a source for this. Carlwev (talk) 01:31, 9 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like Southeastern have withdrawn the original pdf. I've linked to their latest offering, though I don't know whether it supports the claim that Orpington is step-free access. Dr Sludge (talk) 10:45, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
