"Qoph" or "qof" is a letter of the Hebrew alphabet.

As far as I know, "qoph" is the only word in the English language that starts with a Q and has no letters that come after Q in the alphabet.

By the way, I am not a new user, but in the past I have been reading (and occaisionally editing) Wikipedia anonymously. I created this user name for the purpose of being able to join in discussions. I mostly read Wikipedia on public computers, and as such rarely log in.
