Categories[edit]

Should something be done regarding the categories? Perhaps validate any of them or at least clean them up? For example, I don't know why she would have "Tenchi Muyo!" as a category. And as the individual above me asked, where does she exhibit an AIDS dissidence? 74.77.124.236 (talk) 02:43, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I took out four categories, including the superfluous parent categories of "German female singers", the tangential "Tenchi Muyo!", and the currently unsupported and unmentioned-in-the-article "AIDS dissidents". ~ Jeff Q (talk) 03:32, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It appears inaccurate to give Nina Hagen the category: Jewish German actresses. She has never identified herself as Jewish. Moreover, the criterion laid out in Wikipedia’s article pertaining to Whos is a Jew? and also defined here – doesn’t support labelling her as such. The category might want to be reconsidered. N.B. the German article does not use this category either. Veritycheck (talk) 10:23, 20 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Fritzens Dampferband[edit]

Lute88 keeps insisting that Fritzens Dampferband be translated as "Fritz's Steamboat Band" (something about German grammar). Now, I don't speak German, but I do know that the bandleader for this band was named Michael Fritzen. I've pointed Lute88 to Fritzen's page on German Wikipedia, which documents this fact. His only response was to revert my change yet again, repeating the grammatical argument. Can we have an actual discussion about this please? — Isaac Rabinovitch (talk) 21:08, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I would translate it as Fritzen's Steamboat Band. There is no need to change the name. While Fritzen is the possesive form of Fritz it is also a surname in its own right. the bandleader's name is Fritzen not Fritz. --Asmodea Oaktree (talk) 22:00, 8 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I agree completely. The bandleader is called Michael Fritzen, so the correct translation in this case is Fritzen's Steamboat Band. Armbrust The Homunculus 05:40, 10 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Anthony Kiedis, Give It Away[edit]

Hi,

I found it interesting, that Nina Hagen was Anthony Kiedis' Girlfriend and that her way of life (altruistic) was the reason for the lyrics of "Give It Away". At least this is mentioned here: [[1]]. Thought that might be interesting here. Cheers.--77.23.92.171 (talk) 13:09, 21 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Anti trans?[edit]

Is she anti trans, I've seen people chatting about it, and apparently she was made patron of some anti trans organisation, but I've seen nothing about it.
