Main image[edit]

Is that really the best Wikipedia can offer? Pattie Boyd was known for being a model, for being the faces of the 60s, for marrying Harrison and Clapton, for inspiring some of the greatest love songs in rock... surely there must be a photo of her that reflects all of that.. 92.184.110.250 (talk) 21:35, 8 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, it's standard practice for WP to use the most recent available image in BLP infoboxes, but in this case using a picture of PB in her 70s is misleading. We're all going to get old if we live long enough. --Ef80 (talk) 19:18, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The attribution for the comment that Clapton "later admitted to raping and abusing his wife" does not link to such an admission.[edit]

The attribution for the comment that Clapton "later admitted to raping and abusing his wife" does not link to such an admission. He does not admit to "rape" in any of the listed sources. He admits to being generally "abusive" which is a far cry from raping someone. As Clapton has become a touchstone for youth due to racist statements made in the 1970s and his position on vaccines, this excited statement seems to reflect a bias, due to the negative nature in which it casts the subject. 2604:3D09:717C:4300:1554:BD8E:24FB:667D (talk) 13:28, 1 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
