An extreamly influential band with only one single. Was speedy deleted before, has a bit more content now but i would still delete it -- Chris 73 Talk 15:32, Dec 1, 2004 (UTC)

  • They are notable and influential, and we should have an article on them, but I don't really care if this is deleted. Weak keepTuf-Kat 15:42, Dec 1, 2004 (UTC)
    • The first and only (Orange County, California) outfit to gain acceptance in Hollywood Punk circles was Santa Ana's Middle Class, with frontman Mike Patton (not the Faith No More/Mr. Bungle singer). Middle Class probably put out the first (hardcore punk) single, "Out Of Vogue -- from Steven Blush's American Hardcore, full citation at the bottom of music of California, which links to this article. • Delete. It is a shame that the information about this "extremely influential" band has been "lost to history", but it needs to be found, or else a verifiable article cannot be made. --L33tminion | (talk) 16:41, Dec 1, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete -- not really influential. A minor band tangential to an extermely influential scene. -- GWO

  • Delete: Probably worthy of discussion, but only within the master topic. I know something about the Athens scene. There were bands that only did a single (e.g. The Fans and Vietnam) who were extremely influential, and it's accurate to say that the scene might not have happened without them, but they would better be discussed at an Athens scene article, if one were to exist. (For those who don't know, the Athens scene gave the world B-52s, Pylon, REM, Drivin' and Cryin', and, sort of, Indigo Girls). Geogre 20:51, 1 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep There's quite a bit of information on this band, and they're extremely important. The "Out of Vogue" EP was the first hardcore record (Steve Blush, cited above, is a bad source, but right in this case), and one of several the band released. Auto movil 02:34, 6 Dec 2004 (UTC)
