"Despite its name, Kentish Town has no connection with Kent."[edit]

Not an encyclopedic sentence, the history section covers the name without believe people make assumptions. Murry1975 (talk) 21:50, 5 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Nom wasn't entirely clear about reason for merge, but clearly the article isn't independently notable and this is a sensible target. Ping Crouch, Swale and Mccapra as likely interested parties. TeraTIX 10:51, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I agree merge is a good conclusion.Mccapra (talk) 11:54, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I alternatively suggested List of districts in the London Borough of Camden as its mentioned there but I think Kentish Town would be better if content is added for it. Crouch, Swale (talk) 12:04, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
List of districts in the London Borough of Camden doesn't really give a lot of context on its subjects, so I think Kentish Town is a better choice. I went ahead and merged the page; I wasn't sure where to put it, so it's in a sub-section under Architecture and geography. TeraTIX 13:27, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks I just also suggested List of districts in the London Borough of Camden because it, at the time contained something, but I agree Kentish Town is better as it now has content on it. Crouch, Swale (talk) 13:30, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
