Midwayer was proposed for deletion. This page is an archive of the discussion about the proposed deletion. This page is no longer live. Further comments should be made on the article's talk page rather than here so that this page is preserved as an historic record. The result of the debate was CONSENSUS NOT REACHED

How widespread is the belief in these? The term "midwayer" gets 843 google hits, those I checked were relevant. A quick look suggests the term is part of Urantia. At the very least the subject should get a more critical article text. (the article vfd message was added by 213.253.40.158). Thue | talk 13:58, 15 Jul 2004 (UTC)

  • Keep, but needs quite a bit of NPOV -- Solitude 14:47, 15 Jul 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep and fix. Dpbsmith 16:24, 15 Jul 2004 (UTC)
  • I'll go against the grain and suggest deletion. It is possible that an Angel or Urantia article could contain this information. The present article redlinks a number of other items that will end up here, I'm afraid, if broken out into articles. I would suggest that this material be added to its master mythos. • OH god, delete. Exploding Boy 01:38, Jul 16, 2004 (UTC)
  • NPOV, merge into Urantia, and redirect. -- Jmabel 02:03, Jul 16, 2004 (UTC)
  • Could go either way. If it's a central (tenet?) of Urantia, it should be reworded for NPOV (I imagine this will be difficult) and link back to it; if it's not that important, just delete (Urantia makes no mention of Midwayers, after all.) But as it reads now, it appears to be passing off some postmodernist spiritual principle as gospel. --Ardonik 04:02, Jul 16, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete, and delete also 11:11, a highly related absurdity. -- Cyrius| 02:18, 20 Jul 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep midwayer, cleanup, no idea about 11:11. Rhymeless 04:20, 20 Jul 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. NPOVise. Cleanup --[[User:OldakQuill|Oldak Quill]] 18:20, 20 Jul 2004 (UTC)
  • It would have to be completely rewritten by someone who gives a monkey's about the subject and actually cares to explain it. So, as it stands, delete. Fire Star 13:23, 21 Jul 2004 (UTC)
