Oppose Race Course metro station ; there should probably be a set index for stations for racecourses located at city X or on line Y with the format "X/Y race-course station", as we have alot of those and they can be thought of as formulaic due to the location being the first term and racecourse being the second. -- 65.94.40.137 (talk) 05:13, 3 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Opening date[edit]

This page lists an opening date in 1985. East Rail Line says this station opened in 1983. However, I have come across an SCMP article, published 29 December 1979, called "KCR is on the right track for the 80s". It reads: "Another development - welcomed by punters - was the opening of a new racecourse station - fully integrated with the new course - at Shatin in October last year. At present, KCR runs three special train services each way during each race meeting." Thus implying an opening date in October 1978. Can anyone confirm? Note about COVID out of date[edit]

The note on this article saying that Lok Ma Chau and Lo Wu stations are closed due to COVID is out of date. Both stations have reopened (cites easily available, just google it).
