Clearly a non-notable image format. 785 hits on google. [1] Pokemon minutiae is much more important. —RaD Man (talk) 08:49, 19 Dec 2004 (UTC)

  • Keep: DCEdwards1966 09:00, Dec 19, 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep: Isn't this an ISO standard or something? Well-known anyway. --fvw* 09:11, 2004 Dec 19 (UTC)

  • Keep. This information is much more relevant than the number of hits on Google. [[User:GRider|GRider\talk]] 17:28, 20 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep it. 12:52, 27 Dec 2004. It is indeed true that the public knowledge on this data format is very small, as the knowledge is kept within big companies. However within the geographic/navigation system world, it is the basic file format. It is indeed an ISO standard, which cannot be said of Pokemon minutiae.

This page is now preserved as an archive of the debate and, like some other VfD subpages, is no longer 'live'. Subsequent comments on the issue, the deletion or on the decision-making process should be placed on the relevant 'live' pages. Please do not edit this page.
