To Do[edit]

  • The list of rectors is incomplete. There doesn't seem to be any online resource for completing it. Presumably the school library has (or should acquire) copies of the school's historical publications. Many of the dates given are guesses.
  • The section of notable alumni is also inadequate. Again, there doesn't seem to be anything online. I understand that the Academical Club doesn't want to get into labelling members as notable and non-notable. Surely there are some alumni that already have Wikipedia articles? (Note that some of the current red-links do actually have other links to them, which substantiates their claim to notability.)
  • No picture of the school. We should have one of the main frontage, perhaps with the south-corner medallion in view. Also one of Balgray, perhaps showing the signboard in the south corner with the stands and rubgy posts visble behind. Also pictures of the school uniform.

Is there anyone at the school who could do some research or photography? Bovlb 23:40, 2005 Apr 7 (UTC)

Vandalism[edit]

This page has suffered repeated vandalism which has been interleaved with genuine edits. I have done my best to fix it, but I know very little about the subject matter. Beware! CarolGray 17:30, 29 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Rifle Club[edit]

I find the section on the riffle club quite unencyclopedic to me. It is too coloquial. The part about how girls and boys take up to shooting diferently reads like a personal essay. It even uses an exclamation point!--Fantastic fred (talk) 01:59, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That's because it's written by Charles Young, the pompous individual who heralded his own name in the article.

Vandalism, yet again[edit]

Looks like the whole CCF section's been wiped - need to revert that. And will the aging relic who is so transfixed by this article please refrain from putting in the section about an AAC chopper - it's unbelievabely implausible. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.107.99.19 (talk) 20:33, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Actually the story about the AAC helicopter is true. It did land in the main playground, I was at the school when it happened in about 2003. The whole KA wiki page seems to be badly lacking nowadays. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.225.80.100 (talk) 00:40, 6 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
