Tell me something about the music![edit]

So, if I were listening to some... how could I tell it was Detroit Blues? What, musically, is going on? There's gotta be a difference and... if there is no difference, then that should be mentioned. Seems to me that Detroit blues isn't that distinct from Chicago blues of similar time frame. The main difference is just the location and people involved.
