Oops.. I've just gone and formatted the article Australian Electoral Divisions, that someone wrote today - and then I realised that this one existed.. (actually I knew about this one, but must have forgotten about it, or thought I was editing it). The two articles should be merged somehow. -- Chuq 22:37, 17 Oct 2004 (UTC)

All that needs to happen is that the Divisional names at this article should be Wikified. The other article can then be abolished. I will update the maps and tables at this article when the count is finished, which should be by the end of this week. Adam 00:16, 18 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Is it still necessary to have the opposing candidate listed there, seeing as the election has now passed? Ambi 02:51, 25 Oct 2004 (UTC)

i think the pictures need to be updated to reflect the new seat holders Xtra 04:38, 2 Nov 2004 (UTC)

I have updated the maps but the page continues to show the old ones - can anyone explain this? Adam 03:50, 4 Nov 2004 (UTC)

How many of the "original 75" from 1901 are left?

"This article has been rated as Low-importance on the importance scale."

Really? Seems harsh.

BTW, there is a new electorate in Qld (Wright), but we should probably wait until the next election to add it.

It's actually called Flynn now - they renamed it due to connotations the name allegedly had with a former local MP convicted of child sex offences. Until the boundaries are established and published by the AEC for all electorates, there's no real need to write an article, beyond maybe a stub saying that it exists and the date of establishment Orderinchaos78 (t|c) 23:19, 16 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

recent election result[edit]

the recent election has seen a major change in seats held be the political parties the article needs to be updated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.161.51.235 (talk) 08:53, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

why should the British word constituencies be used if it is not appropriate.

Electoral district boundaries[edit]

The article shows maps with the caption The maps below show the Division boundaries as they existed at the Australian federal election, 2010. Haven't there been any changes since 2010? I got the impression from this page that multiple electoral districts have been adjusted ... any Australians here who could update this information? --Furfur Diskussion 09:30, 16 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
