Kootenay River[edit]

Does the Kootenay River flow through or near the town? Badagnani 03:08, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes it does. Moreso, Libby Dam, near Libby on the Kootenay River, creates the rather large Lake Koocanusa. the Kootenay River mentions that it flows by Libby. Pfly 03:46, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Seems to be spelled Kootenay by Canadians, and Kootenai by Americans. --Delirium (talk) 11:54, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Geo Location[edit]

From the article:

Libby is located at 48°23′17″N 115°33′13″W / 48.38806°N 115.55361°W / 48.38806; -115.55361 (48.388128, -115.553707),[1] along U.S. Route 2.

Why is it considered proper to have the Geo-link co-ordinates followed again by the non-linked co-ordinates? Is it because one form is in hhmmss and the other is in decimal form? Doesn't seem to be much of a distinction.Wkharrisjr (talk) 14:48, 21 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, the point is because they're in different formats, as one is more precise but the other is more understandable if you don't understand dms format. Nyttend (talk) 12:21, 22 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
