SP appeared on Heaven 17's 1983 album The Luxury Gap and The Madness's one and only album released in 1988 (The Madness being a spin-off group of Madness consisting of four of the original members)

Phillips Saisse Palladino[edit]

Phillips has joined with Saisse and Palladino as "Phillips Saisse Palladino", a jazz fusion trio, mainly, which began a tour of Europe in late 2009. Often the references are shortened to PhiSaiPal or something like that. Here is one reference:Link from Drummer's World

Kings Of Mercia[edit]

In 2022 Philiips joins Kings of Mercia and released an album.
