Couple things[edit]

I heard he once had a relationship with Madonna, shouldn't that be included? Also, there's barely a mention of his role as goalkeeper for the 1998 World Cup champion France team. Aplomado talk 16:31, 13 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think his relationship with Madonna shouldn't be included...because it's craps! He once was with Linda Evangelista, but this article is about a goalkeeper, not a gigolo. We'd beter add material about the 98 world cup than his sexual life. madlozoz — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.56.150.217 (talk) 13:31, 6 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dubious Information[edit]

Caps and goal figures in the article likely contain European cup/Domestic cup data in addition to Domestic League data (this is very certain based on this user's previous edits containing similar information [1]. Please correct this issue and leave a note here, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Alfmaster#Footballers.27_European_goals, to warn this person about putting improper information on Wikipedia. --Palffy 21:20, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Retirement in 2007[edit]

Somebody needs to make a better paragraph than the one sentence we currently have for hus current retirement. I'd do it myself right now but I'm busy with FIFA 2007 XD - John Jacques — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.158.25.229 (talk) 23:39, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pic[edit]

I think the picture of Barthez can be changed. There's nothing much you can see in it other than his big bald head. - Up and over for a six! (talk) 02:27, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Done. If you want you can change the images in the foreign languages wikis to this image. PrisonMan (talk) 16:31, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No, you can't, because the image you inserted is a copyright violation. Hekerui (talk) 13:01, 5 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Information about his career before moving to Man United?[edit]

He played many games in the french league, shouldn't there be something written about it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.107.161.127 (talk) 01:30, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

His wife is Aurélie Dupond, not Ophélie Winter[edit]

Fabien Barthez never married Ophélie Winter. He married Aurélie Dupond who does look a bit like miss Winter. I saw the source and traced it back to a mistake a french tabloid had made about the identity of miss Dupond when they first started dating. WOuld someone please correct the mistake?
