Fair use rationale for Image:Deborah Tannen.jpg[edit]

Image:Deborah Tannen.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Vandalism[edit]

I'm having a hard time finding these three edits serious: [1], [2], [3], the last one at least because its from the same ip. They had however not completely been detected, so I cleaned it up as good as I could: [4]. --78.82.196.231 (talk) 07:44, 7 January 2009 (UTC) (sv:user:flinga)[reply]

Male Bashing And Other Unscientific Writings ==[edit]

This article does not mention that D.T. has come under fire from her own peers for conducting anti-scientific research that is hateful towards women. She has written things such as to say that men take over internet pages that are geared towards women. She based this opinion on her observations of the early days of the internet and her own perceptions of what she considered a masculine vs a feminine internet page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.137.150.35 (talk) 02:20, 7 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I Only Say This Because I Love You[edit]

So I just recently found (and bought) a hardback copy of I Only Say This Because I Love You (Random House, 2001), and the subtitle of this edition is different from the one in the article. Instead of "Talking to Parents..." mine is subtitled: "How the Way We Talk Can Make or Break Family Relationships Throughout Our Lives."

It seems as through the subtitle was changed when the book was released as a paperback in 2002. Is there any way this can be accounted for in the article? --Andresg770 (talk) 03:08, 19 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Home Improvement inspiration?[edit]

In this podcast (just past the 19-minute mark) she herself states that her books were the inspiration for the material stated by the character Wilson. I don't know if this is usable. Mapsax (talk) 00:04, 1 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
