Fair use rationale for Image:Pyat rublei 1997.jpg[edit]

Image:Pyat rublei 1997.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This is almost all about China rather than the concept of Green GDP in itself. How is Green GDP constructed? What variables are used? Who came up with the idea? Etc. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.22.13.88 (talk) 20:03, 5 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

COI[edit]

Per the connected contributor box above, a contributor has cited his own work in this article. Needs to be reviewed for NPOV. Jytdog (talk) 02:07, 20 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

i removed the selfcite/promo here. if someone independent of the author of the cited source wants to restore it, fine by me. Jytdog (talk) 02:40, 21 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

An alternative definition:[edit]

The definition is terrible. Green GDP is GDP with none sustainable GDP removed, ie what we can produce without fossil fuel. What is described would be; gains and losses to bio asset (changeses in the ability of earth to support life). This is actually more important than GDP at the global level it would be better descibed as Green Product. An example to illustrate making a wooden spoon on a foot peddle lathe would constitute green GDP it's done without fossile fuel but it could result in a loss of Green Product is the tree is not replaced.

What is been reffered to as Green GDP is GDP adjusted with estimated clean up costs. I can strip mine an area but the the economic benifit isn't as great as it first looks as their are clean up costs to the land not factored in that can be, as can the environmental effect of emissions in terms of clean up costs. This still does not factor in an costs for the irreversible loss of entropy in using fossil fuel or give some idea of what can be produced post fossil fuel.
