how do i help clean up Vandalism on Wikipedia

Prozak - I've been doing repeated reverts to this page in the past few weeks, dealing with a persistent attacker. I requested semi-protection for the page (so that anonymous posters can't modify it), which would get me out of the revert business, and was told that only a user can request semi-protection of his/her user pages. So I'm posting this note: I suggest that you add a personal comment here (as an addition to the item I started) to request such protection . John Broughton 04:24, 25 January 2006 (UTC)

Actually, if you don't mind the "You have new messages" spamming you a lot, it might be better leaving it unprotected. I've added you to my watchlist and have been hitting offenders with {{bv}} when they replace content here with their spam. Then if they move on to the article space, I can block them right away. I've been helping keep Talk:Ananda Marga clean (the same person/bot is hitting that); as far as I can tell, it's a new IP address every time, which makes it somewhat pointless to post a warning to abusing IP addresses (as far as I can tell).

Thank you for notifying me of that link. I have registered and reported the thread there, but I doubt they will do anything about it. Anyways, you might notice that my userpage (Soon to re-appear) has been totally deleted. I have little something going so that when somebody does something like that again, I can blank the subpage that the real thing is on, then they can't see anything.
