Kasatka[edit]

No, you are wrong, and you didn't even bother to put in some arguements. The helicopter is called "Kasatka". There a 2 very similar words: "kasatka" (Касатка (use translators, if you need)), which means barn swallow, and "kosatka" (Косатка), which means orca. The difference is just one letter, and both words are pronouced the same. It confuses people very often. Also, russians more likely would call this bird "деревенская ласточка" (literally "village swallow"), which is second name for this species, or just "ласточка" ("swallow"), which is name for the whole genus of birds, "касатка" it not very common name. At the same time, much more people know about orca ("косатка"), then about one of names of one particular scecies of genus. This is a usual solicism, when they and type or write "касатка" instead of "косатка", while they mean "orca". Eurocopter influence?[edit]

My first impression when looking at the photo of the Ka-60 was: It looks like a Eurocopter. Then the article Kamov says: "Kamov is merging with Mil and Rostvertol to form Oboronprom Corp." Then the article Mil says: "Mil participates in the Euromil joint venture with Eurocopter." The Ka-62 isn't the civilian version but a new helicopter with french engine after the ka-60 failure.
