Subsequent use of name in article: "Kilcher" or "Jewel"[edit]

Hi. @Grammar crackers made some extensive edits, improving the article. Many of the subsequent references to the subject have been changed from "Jewel" to "Kilcher." We're now left with an article that seems to inconsistently use both. I think the article should be updated for consistent subsequent use of the artists name.

If we're going to be consistent throughout the article, which should it be?

I think, per MOS:SURNAME, we should be paying attention to this guideline:

If they use their mononym or pseudonym exclusively, then use that name (e.g. Aaliyah, Selena, and Usher).

I think the subject uses her mononym exclusively, and so subsequent references should be "Jewel." Davidwbaker (talk) 15:58, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, and thanks for informing me and for the kind words. When I first began editing the article, about half of the references to the subject of the article were "Jewel", and the other half "Kilcher". By the time I read your message, I had already changed all instances of "Jewel" to Kilcher. Please feel free to edit it you see fit, it looks like you're right.
