iHUB is a non-profit coordination center, aiming to safeguard the future of humanity by means of a worldwide scientific coalition and unified global efforts.[edit]

iHUB is an independent, non-profit organization, founded in 2004 and run by the volunteer efforts of our members and all people who share our concerns about the future of humanity.

The idea behind this organization is a simple and yet powerful vision and it was conceived by the founder’s father, a distinguished scientist, after spending 3 days as a hostage during the 2002 terrorist occupation of the theater in Moscow.

The mission is to unite and safeguard humanity, and ensure sustainable global development using science as the main instrument.

The role of iHUB is to act as a coordination center, aiming for:

• Evaluating the problem and threats and making the public aware of it

• Researching the problem

• Developing methods for minimizing risks

• Eliminating or minimizing negative impacts

Welcome[edit]

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome!

However, this is important: I must warn you that any edits made to any article concerning IHUB.org will be frowned upon by other users and reverted quickly. As a rule of thumb, you should only talk about your organization on this talk page and on your user page. Please see Wikipedia:Autobiography for more information. Thanks. 10qwerty 05:31, 15 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Founder,

i sent you an email through the ihub.org website. if we can keep in correspondence, perhaps i can provide you with a 'more legitimate' way for ihub.org to be represented here, given the 'autobiography' policies. keep in touch if you're interested. peace, - aaron shuffdog (talk) 06:16, May 15, 2005 (UTC)

Um, i possibly have given you a faulty email address. i might have given you the name shufboyardee@ when it should have been aschiffer@ ( heh, it's late : P ).

IHUB and nomination for deletion[edit]

Hello. Welcome to Wikipedia. I hope you stick around and continue to contribute. I just nominated your IHUB article for deletion. For further discussion, see here. I do not mean this as an attack on you or your organization; it does appear that it is a good cause. However, I just do not feel that it is notable enough to merit inclusion in Wikipedia. Again, I do hope you stick around and contribute further to this project. -- JamesTeterenko 07:09, 15 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry that i can't really dispute the VFD; ihub is about as well-published as the Gordon College Drew Hall community, and references seem to be everything around here.

Your perspectives in other, more established areas would totally be welcome here, should you choose to stay. The Moscow theater hostage crisis and Trent University pages are some off the top of my head, but you know best what you have time to devote to.

peace,

Trent University[edit]

It might be helpful if you could add more detail to the image captions, in terms of where on the Trent campus those scenes are located. I, myself, am not familiar with the campus at all so I was only able to insert vague captions. Thanks. Darkcore 06:48, 16 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the comment, done. --IHUB.org Founder 07:32, 16 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
