Pleased to be of help:) -- wackyvorlon

Some of the latest changes seem wrong (St Peter%u2019s had become isolated from its congregation and in 1888 a new church, St. Saviour%u2019s, was built by The Green. Burrell%u2019s.....etc) - Regards Oldfarm 03:14, 4 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Pneumatics[edit]

I have heard some scary stories of people nearly dying when transporting liquid nitrogen in lifts. In such an enclosed space dropping a liquid nitrogen, which on boiling (at room temp.) expands to 20 times the volume it occupies when liquid, is a short-cut to asphyxiation!

Fluidics I think describes the sort of instrumentation your dad used. HarryAlffa (talk) 19:48, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Bhong Libantino[edit]

A tag has been placed on Bhong Libantino requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. mboverload@ 06:16, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Speedy Deletion Notice[edit]

Paul - I'm just curious why I came up as being notified about the deletion of "detoxify or die".. I imagine there must be a reason I was informed, but I don't remember anything about such a page, and was curious if you had more info. I'm not at all concerned that it was deleted, but is there a way to view what the page used to be, so that I can perhaps understand what it was that associated it with my username?

Thanks again, and I appreciate your help.

Horus?[edit]

"I hate to tell you, but that Zeitgeist movie about Horus is completely wrong. It has no relationship to archeaological reality. --Paul Anderson (talk) 22:59, 27 September 2008 (UTC)"

I don't understand what you mean here...

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of Sorteberg relay[edit]

The article Sorteberg relay has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no sources, can not verify content & no indication of notability

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
