Hometown[edit]

Where's your hometown? I saw lots of updates to Orange Park. I grew up in Middleburg. Mike H 23:27, Aug 28, 2004 (UTC)

I spent 5 years living on NAS Jacksonville, then moved to Orange Park for Junior and Senior High. I lived in Orange Park for about 12 years before moving around the state several times. My family still lives in Orange Park, I live in Jacksonville now. NamcoFL 13:31, Aug 29, 2004 (UTC)

Images[edit]

Hiya.. can you add source and license information to the images you just uploaded (Image:Bush-copilot2.jpg and Image:TopGun0.jpg). Thanks! —Stormie 06:48, Oct 21, 2004 (UTC)

Numerals vs. spelled out[edit]

Technically, in the wider world you are correct (great overall improvement on the Martinez article, by the way). However, it seems like Wiki-style is to use numerals on everything over "nine" and some want to go all the way down. I was taught to spell out everything "one hundred" and below. But here, even with ordinals, it seems like "19th century" is what they want. Well, I'm not about to revert it, but if someone else does, that will likely be why.

Thank you for uploading Image:Bush-copilot2.jpg. Its copyright status is unclear, so it may have to be deleted. Please leave a note on the image page about the source of the image. Thank you.

I have put Template:US Trade Representative up for deletion after changing all of its contents to Template:Succession box. Because of the versatility of the latter it is unneeded now. Thanks. gren グレン 20:20, 6 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The image you uploaded, Image:Bush-copilot2.jpg, has no source information. The image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, ie in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use. Unless the copyright status is provided, the image will be marked for deletion on 24 October 2005.

This message notification has been automatically sent by NotificationBot managed and run by AllyUnion. Please leave comments regarding bot operations at AllyUnion's talk page. Please direct all comments regarding licensing information at Wikipedia talk:Images for deletion. --NotificationBot 13:25, 17 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Clay-county-logo.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Clay-county-logo.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Subwayatrain (talk) 06:51, 26 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Map_of_Florida_First_Coast.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 22:56, 27 December 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rettetast (talk) 22:56, 27 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image tagging for File:Map of Florida First Coast.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Map of Florida First Coast.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 07:39, 1 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This image was based on your image File:JaxCityflag.png, but it lacks a free image license. The comments said you created it, so can you edit the image and release it under a free license?

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. C. Farris Bryant Page[edit]

Hello. I am new to Wikipedia and still learning about the editing process. I am interested in Florida political history, especially the history of Florida's governors. One of the governors whom I have done research on is Farris Bryant. I would like to add information to his page, including some new sections. I wanted to talk with some of the page editors before making any changes. Since you are the creator of the page, I thought I would contact you first. I have a couple of questions: Should I get editors' approval before making changes? And should I put up a notice that edits are being made to the page over an extended period of time?
