  • Absolutely. Delete. --Neschek 18:14, 8 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Polite, but pointless. A newbie misunderstanding what Wikipedia is for and not reading the text on the edit page. Do we have to have it jump out in big flashing red lights playing a trombone for these people to get the message that you don't write articles about yourself? Average Earthman 18:34, 8 Oct 2004 (UTC)
    • The following should do the trick: <div style="text-decoration:blink;color:red;font-size:large;">Don't write your autobiography here!!!</div>. Dunno about the trombone, maybe some mouseover Javascript would work. --Ianb 23:22, 8 Oct 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete., could be speedy as user seems to indicate agreement to page removal.--Ianb 23:22, 8 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Agreed, will do. However, I hope someone dropped a welcome on the fellow and told him about making a User page, where he can introduce himself to the community? Geogre 18:35, 9 Oct 2004 (UTC)
Neschek already posted a welcome message on his talk page, and the user also already copied the page to his user page. Nadavspi 19:54, 9 Oct 2004 (UTC)
Speedy deleted, per authorial consent, VfD consensus, and the fact that the information has been preserved on the user page. Geogre 00:34, 10 Oct 2004 (UTC)

This page is now preserved as an archive of the debate and, like other '/delete' pages is no longer 'live'. Subsequent comments on the issue, the deletion or on the decision-making process should be placed on the relevant 'live' pages. Please do not edit this page.
