Monferrat and Monferrato are the same region, but I found two different articles, one related to the former, the second to the latter. In addition I would like to point out that the Montferrat (il Monferrato) was a marquisate in Piedmont, not Lombardy and its territory is nowadays comprised in the piemontese provinces of Asti and Alessandria. The term is still used to name the hilly region very well known for its famous wines.

Fixed the geographic things you mentioned, the duplicate articles appears to be fixed. Also added some more data on the history of the marquessate and moved the stuff about William III to a separate article. Fleshed out the rulers list with some more info.
Should the names be in Italian? It's a bit strange to have Italian nobles listed as 'William' and 'John'... Havard 21:45, 22 May 2005 (UTC)

From a mobile device the flag can be seen very poorly, the white blends in with the white of the page. JacktheBrown (talk) 17:25, 26 March 2024 (UTC)
