Moved from KFI AM 640 to KFI AM. US radio stations often change their broadcast frequency. Although it's not likely that KFI will do so, it's a bad precedent to include the frequency as part of a standard heading. Bill 20:13, 2 Apr 2004 (UTC)

but the station is known as KFI AM 640... it looks really strange now--KFI (AM). Could it be moved to KFI? Or is it Wikipedia policy to have pages titled with only 3 letters be redirects? I agree, the station should be at just KFI, as there is no need for disambiguation here. I think originally there were two articles, KFI AM 640 and KFI, which were subsequently renamed KFI AM and KFI-AM respectively... ultimately the two articles were merged and renamed KFI (AM). Fair use rationale for Image:Opt logo kfi.jpg[edit]

Image:Opt logo kfi.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. The "Real" KFI[edit]

John Ziegler, a former KFI host, has launched a new website exposing much of what goes on in the KFI studio. We should analyze this and possible include some of this information in the KFI wiki.

John Paoli[edit]

My husband, John Paoli was the chief engineer for KFI for 10 years (1998-2008) and was responsible for the rebuilding of the tower in 2008. After it's completion, he took a week's vacation and died suddenly on Sunday, October 18, 2008. The tower was dedicated in his name and bears a plaque in remembrance. This can be verified through many of your own links such as the one run by Paul Sakrison. I would appreciate this being included in you article on KFI as John worked endless hours and took great pride in all his responsibilities. If you go to Sakrison's site, there is a photo of John. Removing "Quality Standards" Tag[edit]

Your Current Advertising RE: Dental Procedures[edit]

Many of my friends to listen to your station daily told me about an advertisement that states "wake up with all new teeth". Being born and raised here in Southern California and spending close to three decades in Lake Arrowhead KFI was my favorite radio station for many many years. However due to my house burning to the ground I had no choice but to relocate to Colorado for The Last 5 Years. My parents becoming ill, brought me back home in Nov., 2016. I'm pretty sure your station was 95.1for D.D if I remember correctly and remembered your location being in San Bernardino, CA. Apparently alot of changes have taken place. I have two questions I need answered please. 1. Where can I find you these days ON MY STERO for KFI FM ?? 2. Please give me information on the dental advertisement so many of my friends have told me about at your convenience please! Thank You So Very Much!

References dead link[edit]

Hello, there is a dead link in the references section. Specifically, the third reference to the PDF by the FCC stating the emergency response plan.
