Nice idea with the animated gif, but on my system (Windows Firefox 0.9) it goes by way too fast for me to see anything. It needs to be either slowed down if possible, or replaced with a bunch of separate frames. --69.70.138.192 04:13, 23 Jul 2004 (UTC)

agreed, that thing almost gives me seizures. James C. 07:10, 2004 Jul 23 (UTC)

-- Also, on my browser (IE6) at least, there's a black frame at the 'end' of the animation which causes an annoying flash. But I think the animation is great, and if these comments can be addressed it will be a great addition to the article. --Zorn 08:18, 23 Jul 2004 (UTC)

-- I've noticed (I made the animation), but while I could recompile it to make it run slower, I don't know how to make the black frame disappear. I'll try messing with it more later. --User:Mokele

I agree, the animation is a good idea, but at the moment extremely anoying. Maybe it should be moved to a separate page? Otherwise, it needs to be a lot slower (well, it would need that, anyways), and we have to get rid of the flash. User: Stephan Schulz

Does anyone actually know how to compile an animated gif so it doesn't have the flash? The only program I have to work with is Adobe Premier, and the black flash happens every time. If someone knows how, I can email them the sequence of frames. Just post something on my talk page if you wanna try. User:Mokele

I tried fixing it; a better version is at [1]. A sysop should replace the image if people agree the new one is good enough. I used The Gimp if anyopne is curious. Thue | talk 13:14, 23 Jul 2004 (UTC)
Ahh, thanks very much! I personally like it, and if the others have no objections, I don't see why not. Thanks for fixing it, graphics is really not my forte'. User:Mokele
