The inclusion of real objects of worship and veneration here as "Christmas characters" is a little concerning, though perhaps necessary -- referring to Jesus, Lucy of Syracuse, Saint Nicholas, Three Wise Men (and the surely soon to come Mary, mother of Jesus and Saint Joseph, of course) Mpolo 07:13, Oct 9, 2004 (UTC)
