Dbenbenn[edit]

(30/1/0) ending 05:52 February 13 2005 (UTC)

Dbenbenn has amassed over 4500 edits, many of them the sort of tidying-up that keep Wikipedia looking neat and pulled-together. He's active in the Wiki-numbers project, and a huge help in keeping the VfD/Old pages cleared out. He is courteous and thoughtful in his dealings with others: a quality that we need more of. Dbenbenn would make a wonderful administrator. Joyous 05:56, Feb 6, 2005 (UTC)

Thank you very much. I accept. dbenbenn | talk 06:03, 6 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Questions for the candidate
A few generic questions to provide guidance for voters:

1. What sysop chores, if any, would you anticipate helping with? (Please read the page about administrators and the administrators' reading list.)
Mainly WP:VFD/Old. I'd be happy to help out Quadell at WP:IFD if he wants a hand. Clearing Category:Candidates for speedy deletion. Not RC patrol—my computer's too slow.
2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
Petersen graph is my baby.
3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and will deal with it in the future?
I've been peripherally involved in conflicts at Finno-Ugric languages, Sollog, and Autobiography (Ashlee Simpson album). Here's the only conflict I remember being involved in directly.
