Here are some extra tips to help you get around Wikipedia:

Click on the Edit button on a page, and look at how other editors did what they did.
You can sign your name using three tildes, like this: ~~~. If you use four, you can add a datestamp too. Always sign comments on Talk pages, never sign Articles.

Excuse me, the content on the 1960s and 1970s is important and just because you deem some information unimportant for unstated, apparently arbitrary reasons, does not give you a license to make massive deletions of well-sourced, factual content. Image Tagging Image:Rifaat al-Assad.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Rifaat al-Assad.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, ie in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{gfdl}} to release it under the GFDL. If you can claim fair use use {{fairuse}}.) See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. UNBLOCK[edit]

My username has been blocked for a reason I am unclear on, I have certainly not used it in months!

The block log says you were blocked for "vandalism", which I assume mean the following edits your account made in April 2006 (see Special:Contributions/Duncanburrell). But you did seem to be an editor in good faith before that, so I'll unblock you and ask that you make sure that you "log out" of your account if it is on a computer that others might use. Any further vandalism from this account will probably result in a fast block, whether it is "you" or not. --Fastfission 03:40, 9 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
