Photo[edit]

The first Westerman image is an old news photo that has been around enough times it is likley public domain. His promoter might gladly release a more recent photo. Standard image placement conventions would have him looking on the page, from the left side, instead of with his eyes leading off of the page, but some people insist on an arbitary style in this document with all first images appearing on the right, so there it is.

This image came from http://www.american-entertainment.net/ artists/westerman/ but it is also at http://www.underground-book.com/chapters/uranium/FloydWesterman.html as a .gif. Perhaps it was taken at Salzburg in 1992.

Rumors of death[edit]

"Anyway, I just learned from a friend that Red Crow has died. He fought a hard battle - first with lung disease, he survived a transplant, and then was hit by leukemia. His friends stayed by his side, for weeks, now, never leaving him alone. After a ceremony in Los Angeles, his son will take him home, to South Dakota." - Chadlupkes (talk) 20:32, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Quotes[edit]

I would hope that a more suitable quote can be found than the one of the X-Files, which while it recalls a memorable episode, was written for a character he played. Someone as activist as Mr. Westerman must have said many things worth remembering. I think if there was a long list the X-Files one should stay, but if there are only two, they ought to be things he actually said. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.52.182.14 (talk) 02:03, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Floyd as a Young Man[edit]

As a college student at Northern in Aberdeen S.D.,Floyd was a kind and gentle young man. He was a good friend. We enjoyed his singing and his art work. He was a special part of our lives and will never be forgotten.Dakotafriend (talk) 05:27, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Discography[edit]

Just wondering whether the link on the title of the Indian Country album should be removed, as there is no reference to the album on the linked page. Alternatively, perhaps someone could submit the relevant information? As it stands it merely takes the reader to a page that adds nothing to the article.
